Atlanta-based Delta is applying to the U.S. Department of Transportation for more flights from Atlanta to Brazil, including daily flights between Atlanta and Manaus, four flights per week between Atlanta and Fortaleza, and four flights per week between Atlanta and Belo Horizonte. If approved, Delta plans to start the flights in December.
Delta already flies from Atlanta to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and from New York to São Paulo.
