Coca-Cola, UPS on Fortune’s most-admired list

The Coca-Cola Co. beat PepsiCo, but FedEx beat UPS on Fortune magazine’s list of most admired companies, released Tuesday.

Atlanta-based Coca-Cola weighed in at No. 12 on the overall list, while PepsiCo was No. 21.

FedEx was No. 7, compared to Sandy Springs-based United Parcel Service at No. 27.

Atlanta-based Home Depot didn’t make the top 50, but rival Lowe’s landed at No. 47.

Meanwhile, Columbus-based Aflac beat its peers to take the No. 1 spot in the category of life and health insurance.
