Campbell deal puts V-8 juices in Coke machines

Campbell Soup Co. will put its V8 juices in about 15,000 vending machines across the United States as part of a deal with Coca-Cola, Campbell’s announced this week.

Campbell’s, based in Camden, N.J., formed a partnership in June 2007 with Coca-Cola North America and Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Enterprises, the largest bottler of Coca-Cola products, to distribute single-serve refrigerated juices.

Campbell has created a new 12-ounce bottle enabling its V8 juices to go into the vending machines, Campbell’s said this week. The new bottles have started appearing in some machines and also at convenience stores, grocery stores and mass merchandisers.

The bottles offer six varieties of juices: V8, Spicy Hot V8, V8 V-Fusion Strawberry Banana, V8 V-Fusion Pomegranate Blueberry, V8 V-Fusion Peach Mango and Campbell’s Tomato juice.
