Coca-Cola Foundation donates $6 million in first quarter

The Coca-Cola Foundation said it awarded grants totaling more than $6 million to 31 organizations across the U.S. in the first quarter of the year, with sizable donations in Georgia.

Donations in Atlanta include $20,000 each for The Children's Museum of Atlanta and Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Agriculture. An additional $50,000 went to the Atlanta Music Project. Coca-Cola donated $25,000 went to the Young Men's Christian Association of Metropolitan Atlanta, as well as $1 million to the Nature Conservancy and $150,000 to Morehouse College. The Arch Foundation for University of Georgia in Athens got $250,000 annually through 2015, the Georgia Charter Schools Association received $50,000 and the Atlanta Historical Society received $1 million. Coca-Cola Foundation sent $500,000 to the Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center.
