If you plan to grab a Coke in the next few months, remember to carry a little extra coin. Coca-Cola Enterprises, the world's biggest bottler of Coke products, is raising prices by 2-3 percent in the U.S.

CCE's sales volume fell in North America last year, but executives said that the company could eventually attain both higher prices and bigger volumes.

On Wednesday, chief executive John Brock expressed confidence in his company's stable of more than 200 brands. "There are fewer gaps in the portfolio than there were four years ago, that's for sure," he said.
