At the ABA's annual meeting this week in San Francisco, Klein was elected chair of the House of Delegates, the legal organization's 555-member policy-making body.
Klein, who was the first woman to be elected president of the State Bar of Georgia, is currently the managing shareholder for the Georgia offices of the Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz law firm. In 2004, the ABA presented Klein with the Margaret Brent Achievement Award, given to women who have achieved excellence in the legal profession.
