The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Hartsfield-JacksonĀ  International Airport plans a $250,000 audit of its international terminal project, and is seeking approval from city council for a contract with Jefferson Wells International Inc. for the work.

The Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal is scheduled to open in 2012. The Department of Aviation's internal audit unit identified the international terminal for the audit. The review is aimed at ensuring "the efficient and effective use of the City's financial resources," assessing the management of the international terminal and identifying any risks of cost increases. The audit is to be completed six months after approval.

Jefferson Wells was selected through a request for proposals process.
