Airport hires new parking management contractor
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport said it has transitioned to a new parking management contractor, with Chicago-based Standard Parking Corp. taking over the operations from longtime contractor Parking Company of America.
The airport said the transition will be seamless and will not affect customers. The Atlanta City Council approved the new contract with Standard Parking in July, following a controversial bidding process. Parking is the airport’s biggest revenue source, generating about $108 million a year.
