Georgia Tech’s men’s basketball team will play Siena this season in the first of a three-game agreement, according to the Albany Times-Union.
The Jackets will play in Loudonville the next season and return to Atlanta in 2011-12.
Georgia Tech would not confirm the game because a contract has not been signed.
Tech coach Paul Hewitt coached the Saints from 1997-2000, guiding them to one NCAA tournament appearance, before coming to Tech.
Backup center Brad Sheehan is from the Albany area, and will be a senior when the teams play there.
