Pittsburgh — The Braves-Pirates game was rained out Sunday and is scheduled to be made up as part of a Monday doubleheader beginning at 12:35 p.m. at PNC Park.
Sunday's planned starting pitchers, Atlanta's Jair Jurrjens and Pittsburgh's Zach Duke, are now scheduled to start the first game of the doubleheader.
Tim Hudson is scheduled to start the second game for the Braves against right-hander John Van Benschoten, in his first start of the season for the Pirates.
Both games will be broadcast by SportsSouth.
The Braves lost the first two games in the four-game series to extend their road losing streak to six games.
Since this is the Braves' only scheduled visit to Pittsburgh this season, every effort will be made to play both games Monday, despite a forecast that calls for intermittent showers.
The Braves' two-city trip concludes with a three-game series in Philadelphia beginning Tuesday.
