Higher education key for reviving area economy

Today read part three of a five day series examining some of the Miami Valley’s biggest assets.

Area higher education officials discuss how their institutions can be leveraged to help attract new business to the region.

Ohio has seen large increases in college enrollment, but still needs to dramatically grow the number of degree holders because 60 percent of jobs require a degree, but only a quarter of residents have a four-year degree and 36 percent have an associate’s degree.

I went to a trucking school years ago.AND I STILL MAKE MORE THAN MY SON WHO DID GO AND GOT HIS DEGREE.AT O.S.U.
