It is unfortunate Patterson Kennedy will be closed. First of all it is a historical site. Second as a staff member we have made a wonderful school with almost 800 students and achivement scores on it’s way up you are breaking up a large family.By Paula

Another question. If Webster and Allen Elementary Schools are being torn down and Kiser which was once the High School that Supported the 2 schools is now going to be the new Elementary School, where is the the High School going to be for Old North Dayton. This is so sad. The North Dayton Community is dieing well actually is dead. With crime rate screaming at an all time high, the businesses that once was there are gone and the schools leaving what is left of North Dayton? This sound like a City of Dayton problem that has gotten totally out of hand. City Of Dayton get your act together and bring the neighborhood that grew up in back.Instead of worrying about that fountain that has been a problem from day one. Think about what you can do to bring people back to the City. Its so sad when I come home and see the shambles that is now there.Allen, Webster and Kiser will be sorely missed.By null

Oh my gosh!! You are tearing down schools that have been around forever! I was a student at Allen Elementary from the late 60’s to the early 70’s. I was there when the new building went up. I never dreamed that it would ever leave. Its sad.
