KUT’s John Aielli back in the hospital
KUT 90.5 FM is reporting this morning that “Eklektikos” host John Aielli is back in an area hospital.
A station spokeswoman had few immediate details, but said Aielli “is alert and in typical good spirits.”
The longtime Austin radio host suffered a heart attack earlier this month, and spent nearly two weeks off the air while he recovered.
KUT’s Jody Denberg has been tapped to fill in for Aielli on today’s edition of “Eklektikos,” which runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
More details to come.

Sure, every once in a while we laugh at you, but 90.5% of the time we laugh with you, and, after all we listen to you. And most of us appreciate your expertise and thank you for sharing it with us, especially regarding singing.
All the best to you, and get well soon.

A morning just isn't the same without John Aielli's soothing baritone musings on the weather. Get well soon!
