Deal to buy KEYE finalized

Sinclair Broadcast Group has completed its acquisition of Austin’s KEYE-TV, as well as six other stations that were owned by Four Points Media.

Inked in early September, the $200 million deal was finalized this week after getting approval from the Federal Communications Commission.

Other stations included in the sale are located in West Palm Beach, Fla.; Salt Lake City; and Providence, R.I.

Nationwide, Sinclair runs 73 TV stations in 46 cities. In Texas, it owns San Antonio’s Fox and CW affiliates.
