Grande customers will soon be able to watch Longhorn Network online

Grande Communications customers will soon be able to watch the Longhorn Network anywhere there’s an Internet connection.

The San Marcos-based cable company isn’t ready to announce a launch date, a spokesman said, but streaming is in its “near-term” plans.

Verizon FiOS, the largest pay-TV provider to pick up the network, is the first — and so far only — carrier to offer customers online access to LHN.
