The station is searching for a new traffic reporter following the departure of Debra Wynn.

Wynn, who debuted in May 2009, appeared on “KXAN News Today,” which airs from 4:30 to 7 a.m. weekdays.

She got her start in TV news working as a traffic reporter at Detroit’s WDIV.

“Debra is an outstanding traffic reporter and did a terrific job for us,” said Eric Lassberg, president and general manager for KXAN, KNVA and KBVO. “We wish her all the best.”

The station is searching for a replacement, Lassberg said.
