Johnny Depp snubs KVUE
Hundreds of Johnny Depp fans showed up at the Paramount Theatre Friday night, snapping photos of the actor and shooting video with their cellphones

But a news crew from KVUE was allegedly turned away, blocked from interviewing — or even shooting video of — Depp.
The actor was in town to screen his latest flick, “The Rum Diary,” as part of the Austin Film Festival.
According to KVUE reporter Shelton Green, Disney forbade ABC affiliates from interviewing Depp, apparently fearful that it would draw attention away from his other film, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”
Disney, which owns the ABC network, is the company behind the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
KVUE wasn’t alone, though. I know of at least one other Austin TV station that was denied access to Depp, as well.

He also left a 1000 dollar tip on top of the added gratuity for his waitress at the Roaring Fork the other night. Sounds like a real jerk.

Your headline is misleading. If the story is accurate, it wasn't Johnny Depp that was behind the snubbing, it was Disney/ABC.
