Look for KVUE reporter on National Geographic Channel
KVUE reporter Angela Kocherga gets some national exposure this weekend, popping up on Sunday’s edition of “Border Wars” on the National Geographic Channel.
“Murder Capital,” this week’s episode, follows Kocherga, border bureau chief for KVUE and other stations owned by Dallas-based Belo Corp., and her cameraman as they cover the deadly drug war that has rocked El Paso and Juarez, Mexico.
Juarez is the most violent city in the world, according to National Geographic Channel, with more than 3,000 murders each year.
“Border Wars” airs at 9 p.m. Sunday. Find it on Time Warner Cable Channel 232 or in high definition on Channel 1620.
Repeats are scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m., Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 10 at 9 p.m.
