Hog-hunting TV series delayed due to Central Texas heat

Extreme summer heat has slowed production work for a new A&E reality series being filmed in Central Texas.

The Associated Press reports the premiere of “American Hoggers,” which was set for Aug. 16, has been pushed to this fall due to the area’s record-breaking temperatures.

The delay will allow the show, which focuses on a local family that hunts feral hogs, to film at a more relaxed pace.
