New anchor for Telemundo Austin newscasts

Look for a new face on Telemundo Austin.

Sarykarmen Rivera will slide into the anchor chair for the station’s 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts.

She arrives from Central Florida News 13, a cable-only news operation available to Bright House Networks subscribers in Orlando, Fla.

Before landing in Orlando, Rivera had radio and TV gigs in Tampa, Fla.
