TV tweets of the week

Do you use Twitter? I do. I use it to promote my stories and blog posts and to keep up on what people are watching and working on. I follow a lot of diehard TV fans and folks who create the stuff we watch, too.

I run across “tweets” daily about TV (or written by TV creators) that seem funny, insightful or interesting — sometimes all three!

Here are a dozen I collected recently. If you Twitter, you can follow these folks by clicking on their @names below.

And if you’re interested in following me, just click here: @djroe. I’ll follow you back and if you post something that catches my eye, I’ll link to it here in a future blog post.

@WendiAarons Dear ad agencies; Please stop with the Wes Anderson “inspired” TV ads. I’m talking to you, cars.com.

@TVKel It’s raining Campbell’s tomato soup! #V Quick! Grab some crackers!

@champsuperstar Srsly, I went from one room where L&O was playing into another where a different L&O was playing, watched ending and never noticed.

@HartHanson We’re back, baby! The fungus at the bottom of my coffee cup was otherworldly and very tenacious. And DELICIOUS.

@katcandler TV is the enemy. Wait, nope, laptops are the enemy. Actually netflix instant download on my TV and laptop are evil. Evil!!!

@noahhawley HNY 2011. My resolution? Eat more seasonal fruit!

@WhitneyCummings Saw Glee. So it’s people singing, dancing, and having sex, all with a guy in a wheelchair watching. It’s like an orgy at Larry Flynts house.

@WeezieWeaver All hail, Queen Oprah! #KennedyCenterhonors

@DericG It’s official: I don’t get Glee.

@StephenAtHome If you’re reading this now, I can only assume it’s because your family is boring the crap out of you.

@paulfeig Oh, man, I have no memory of asking for the corpse of Santa for Christmas. So why it’s laying under our tree right now is a bit worrying.

@PFTompkins I may live-tweet the broadcast of The Pope’s midnight mass. Unfollow if you’re DVRing it.
