Time Warner Cable goes out during shooting coverage
Some of Time Warner Cable’s Austin customers took to the social media site Twitter Tuesday morning to complain about a cable outage that took place while they were watching coverage of the shooting at University of Texas.
@TWCableHelp, the Twitter face of the cable company’s troubleshooting operation, started receiving inquiries at around 11:20 a.m. from affected customers. Around ten minutes later the company was asking customers still experiencing issues to contact them, so it seems that things are getting back up and running.
Austin area customers still experiencing issues should call Time Warner at (512) 485-5555 or email the company at twcable.help@twcable.com.

Our cable is telling us that our box is not authorized. We are getting sound, and our internet is working fine. Just no picture. Only a message on a blue screen.
Exact wording:
This cable box is not authorized for service. Please call your cable division 512-485-5555
Our bill is up to date, the box has worked without fail for several years, and we want the service we are paying for.

We still have no TWC digital TV service, as of 4:00pm. Called 485-5555 numerous times, but all we get is a busy signal. I don't get it... is anyone having the same problem?
