As expected, the new “American Idol” judges are Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and singer-actress Jennifer Lopez.
They were introduced during a noon press conference by “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest. The webcast of the announcement was marred by sound problems. For us and seemingly most fans Tweeting about the webcast, the audio did not kick in until Lopez was on stage.
“Idol” fans, will Lopez and Tyler be the right fit for the show? Tell us what you think in the Comments section.

I think its great, I watch the opening last night. Tyler and Lopez were awesome. Lopez is a sweetheart and Tyler just cracked me up with his expressions and comments. It will be a fun season. Leave them alone Roe.
