2010 Lone Star Emmy nominations
The nominees for the 8th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards were announced on Sept. 17. The Lone Star chapter of The Emmy Awards seeks to honor the “real stars of Texas television,” the organization’s website says, because “much of what passes for ‘real’ on TV — isn’t. Those aren’t housewives. That’s not dancing. Those aren’t stars. None of those people are from Jersey.”
Winners will be revealed on Saturday, October 16 in Dallas. Here is a list of Austin nominees:
