Good news, sports fans!
The New York Post reports that Time Warner Cable and Walt Disney Co. have come to terms on a new carriage agreement. The companies’ current contract expires Thursday; lack of an agreement put viewing of the upcoming football season in jeopardy for Time Warner subscribers (Disney owns ESPN).
The terms still need to be reviewed by the companies’ legal teams, the article says, it quotes an unidentified person close to the talks as saying no fireworks are anticipated.
