High School football games to air on KBVO
“Friday Night Lights” may be over for a while, but high school football season is upon us. KBVO (My Austin TV) is broadcasting eleven local high school football games at 7 p.m. on Thursdays beginning August 26. Roger Wallace will provide the play-by-play coverage.
“The creation of our new local sports focused station, KBVO, has allowed us the great opportunity to provide live high school football games on Thursday nights for years to come,” said Eric Lassberg, KBVO/KXAN/KNVA, President and General Manager. “So far the community feedback has been incredible excitement, which is what it’s all about.”
Here’s the complete list of games:

September 2: Seguin vs. Bastrop
September 9: Monterrey Tech vs. Stony Point
September 16: Cedar Park vs. Austin
September 23: Pflugerville vs. Akins

Too bad you can't pick up this station via an antenna if you live more than 5 miles from the tower. No love in Round Rock at all.
