MTV reports that “Gossip Girl” actor Chace Crawford earlier today received a misdemeanor charge of possessing less than 2 ounces of marijuana. Crawford could face up to six months of jail time if convicted, the story says (pot possession is a class B misdemeanor in Texas, carrying a maximum sentence of a $2,000 fine and 180 days in jail).
24-year-old Crawford was busted in his hometown of Plano, Texas on Friday, June 4, allegedly in possession of an unlit joint.
