Dale directs, writes and performs with Austin's Gag Reflex comedy ensemble, is a freelance illustrator and has contributed stories and reviews to Macworld magazine. He lives in Round Rock with his wife, two children and a dog named Apollo who barks whenever he hears another dog bark on television.

After less than one season on Fox’s “American Idol,” Paula Abdul replacement Ellen DeGenres has announced that she is creating her own record label.
I guess it’s a good thing that DeGeneres wasn’t on “Jersey Shore” or she’d be starting a “Gym, Tan, Laundry” franchise.
