Dale directs, writes and performs with Austin's Gag Reflex comedy ensemble, is a freelance illustrator and has contributed stories and reviews to Macworld magazine. He lives in Round Rock with his wife, two children and a dog named Apollo who barks whenever he hears another dog bark on television.

Freestyle Skiing, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., NBC: The ski cross, which features a quartet of athletes speeding down a course simultaneously, makes its debut as an Olympic sporting event. Also during this time period: Russia takes on the Czech Republic in men’s hockey; men’s biathlon.
Women’s Curling, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., MSNBC: The USA women take on Canada in front of the host nation’s home team crowd.
Men’s Hockey, 6 p.m.-9 p.m., MSNBC: Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks skates for Team USA on the host nation’s ice as the Americans take on Team Canada.
