Olympics: What to watch

Men’s Hockey, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., USA: Captain Jamie Langenbrunner of the New Jersey Devils and Team USA’s men’s squad hit the ice in a match against Switzerland. Also during this time period: Team USA has a brush with Germany in the Men’s Curling event.

Women’s Snowboard Cross, 7 p.m.-11 p.m., NBC: Torino Silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis of Team USA is the favorite in tonight’s snowboarding event, but if you’ve seen her picture you’d think she’s a champion in curling (and that, ladies and gentlemen, is my one and only curling joke. Thank you). Also during this time period: There’s a bit of everything going on this block. Figure skating, speed skating, alpine skiing … I think there’s an event here for everything you can do with snow except build a snowman, and I hear they’re considering adding that event in 2014.
