Opening Ceremony, 8 p.m., NBC: Our neighbors to the north kick off the 2010 Olympic Winter Games from Vancouver with the first-ever indoor Olympics opener. This could be bad news for Team USA, whose members will be sporting really warm-looking Ralph Lauren puffer jackets (navy with red stripes and an American flag on the back). Before all the pageantry, performances and flame lighting, there’s a 6:30 p.m. ski jumping event, which seems kind of backwards, but maybe those stylish and comfy jackets will help Team USA athletes Nick Alexander, Peter Frenette and Anders Johnson warm up prior to the Parade of Nations.
