ABC’s “The Deep End,” a new legal drama featuring Austin native Mehcad Brooks, will debut Jan. 21, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Brooks, a graduate of Anderson High School and son of American-Statesman editorial writer Alberta Phillips, previously appeared on “True Blood,” “Boston Public,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Game” and “Dollhouse” and has been seen in such movies as “In the Valley of Elah” and “Glory Road.”
“The Deep End,” which is taking over the time slot of “FlashForward” while that series is on hiatus, has been filming around Dallas.
