Fab 55 members are all snatched up
The members of the American-Statesman’s Fabulous 55 football recruiting list have made their decisions. All of them.
Four-star linebacker Michael Morgan (No. 9) committed to USC late Tuesday night, and running back Mon Williams (No. 13) opted to head the other direction, to Florida.
Both Florida and USC each grabbed two players from the Fab 55.
Morgan will be joined by running back Emmanuel Moody (No. 5), while Williams will be joined on the Gators by Garland defensive tackle Brandon Antwine (No. 27).

While I am disapointed to lose anyone to a school out of state and especially USC, I think Texas filled their needs very well. A lot of talk goes into ranking the recruiting classes and rightly so but if key positions go unfilled it really will not translate into anymore championships. I am really happy with the overall balance of Texas class. I believe these recruits will help keep Texas playing at a high level for next four years and who knows maybe get us back to the big game real soon.

Somebody revolke their Texas citizenship. A loyal Texan doesn't wander off and play for other schools unless nobody in Texas thinks they're good enough to play here. They probably weren't even real Texans to start with. At least they didn't go up to the Okees.
