Bush says Republicans have anti-immigrant image
In his final press conference, President Bush on Monday said that the GOP “will come back” but needs a more inclusive message.

“Now, that may be fair or unfair, but that’s the image that came out. And, you know, if the image is ‘We don’t like immigrants,’ then there’s probably somebody else out there saying, ‘Well, if they don’t like immigrants, they probably don’t like me, as well,’” Bush said.
He also added: “So, my point was that our party has got to be compassionate and broad-minded.”

As a cover for his own miserable failure of an Immigration Policy, President Bush further confuses the issues of Illegal Aliens and Immigration by wrongly painting Republicans as anti-Immigrant. Bushes’ globalist agenda is responsible for the pathetic plight of Illegal Aliens who’re being utilized as economic slaves by 21st century slave-masters.
Our President’s administration has had several Border Agents persecuted for doing their job protecting our USA from border thugs. Our former Border Agents are rotting in prison while criminality and chaos grow along our southern border thanks to the Bush Administration.
“Possible ICE leader urges pardon for Ramos and Compean”
“A candidate for Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has urged President Bush to pardon ex-Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.
Miguel Contreras, a retired federal investigative official, said he wrote the letter hoping that Bush will grant the two El Pasoans a pardon or reduce their sentences.
“I reviewed everything I could find related to their cases, and based on my extensive experience, Compean and Ramos should be released and reinstated to their former jobs,” said Contreras, who lives in Yuma, Arizona.
Contreras, a security consultant, has worked for 30 years for various law enforcement agencies and departments, including ICE, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.”

Christmas and a New Year are yesterdays news, now former border agents Ramos and Compean must be released and soon, otherwise our 43rd President’s name will be long remembered in infamy for the dastardly nature of his wanton disregard for our national sovereignty and his persecution of our heroes who worked to protect US Citizens from border-jumping drug runners, terrorists, thugs and Illegal Aliens.

What hubris Mr. President you exhibit with your unwarranted criticism of those interested in preserving our USA’s sovereignty while you continue to do the bidding of globalists. Are globalists the puppet masters pulling our President’s strings and keeping him from undoing the persecution of Ramos and Compean? Right this hideous wrong Mr. President, free them before time runs out for our former agents and our USA.
‘Attempted hit’ put on Ramos family ‘Thank God no one turned on a light! Monica and her 3 boys would be gone!’
The family of imprisoned Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos was the victim of an attempted hit on their lives this month, as the agent’s wife says someone broke into their home and filled it with gas, trashing photographs and pummeling their dog. Just weeks after Monica Ramos spoke with WND about the difficulty of enduring Christmas without her husband, her family returned from visiting Ignacio in prison on Jan 3. While she was away, burglars stole DVDS, a BB gun and cell phone and slashed her couch with a knife. They even beat her dog and ripped cherished wedding pictures and family photos of their life with Ignacio off the walls, smashing them on the ground.
But the vandalism wasn’t the worst part, Monica revealed in a Jan. 12 BlogTalkRadio interview. “It wasn’t so much that stuff was burglarized or that they actually took much,” she said. “What was really hard was that when we got here, the gas was turned on. It was very intentional in that somebody was trying to hurt us.” Her son opened the front door and discovered the strong odor. “Right away he alerted me,” she said. “He started yelling, ‘Mom, don’t walk in. Don’t bring my brothers.’ He said, ‘The gas is on!’ He ran in and started turning everything off.” Her father, Joe Loya, wrote on his blog, “Thank God no one turned on a light! Monica and her three boys would be gone!” Monica said she believes the gas was left on for two days. Her 11-year-old son walked into their home and started crying, ‘Look at our house. Haven’t they done enough?’ Then he said, “Why won’t the president just let my dad come home? This wouldn’t have happened.”

I don’t think they have a negative attitude toward immigration, I think they are just fed up with ILLEGAL immigration, just like all the rest of us.

Political correctness does pay, at least for the Chief of our U.S. Border Patrol . But at what price for all of us and our Border Agents? President Bush has the chutzpa to talk about imagery, he should be freeing Ramos and Compean. What he has done while in office to our Republic’s national sovereignty and our Border Patrol is not leaving much of a legacy for our 43rd president to retire upon.
“Border Chief wins $61,000 bonus despite delays in building fence, failure to support agents” “The Bush administration has awarded a $61,200 bonus to Border Patrol Chief David V. Aguilar, despite agency criticism by Congress for delays in the border fence project and for accelerating a hiring program that auditors say threatens to reduce the quality of field supervision.
Aguilar has also been criticized by border agents for not supporting former Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. His non-support was greeted with a unanimous “no confidence” vote by the union representing non-supervisory border agents.
The presidential merit bonus, equal to 35 percent of Aguilar’s $172,000 annual pay, is almost double the size of the $36,658 base starting salary for a Border Patrol agent.
The bonus angered many field agents, some of whom told the chief in an unsigned letter that the agency has been damaged and field agents jeopardized by his “politically expedient decisions.”
The agents’ four-page letter focuses on two major topics: a virtual fence project along the Arizona-Mexico border that it called “ineffective and too costly,” and changes at the Border Patrol Academy to meet a presidential mandate of hiring 6,000 more agents by the end of 2008. The letter accuses Chief Aguilar of ignoring top Border Patrol executives who unanimously opposed the academy changes.”

Our 43rd President will be remembered for his selling out the interests of all American citizens, all for the benefit of his globalist puppet-masters. Forgotten will be his administrations numerous successes, President Bush’s legacy will be his administrations persecution of numerous Border Agents including Ramos and Compean:
