Concordia holds benefit concert for fire victims
Per the press release:
Concordia University Texas will present a benefit concert on Monday, December 5 at 7 p.m. (at Concordia in the Building A auditorium - 11400 Concordia University Drive, Austin, Texas 78726) to support victims of the recent wildfires in Bastrop, Texas.
Under the direction of Dr. Pasha Sabouri, Dr. Kim Perlak and Dr. Patricia Burnham, the university’s string and guitar ensembles will perform a program of hymns, classical standards, a sing-a-long Gospel and favorite holiday music.
Admission to the concert is free, however, cash and gift card donations are being accepted and will be distributed in partnership with the First Baptist Church of Bastrop to families in need.
