Filmmakers, get your funds

It’s time for the annual Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund, during which the Austin Film Society grants money and equipment to (struggling) filmmakers. Deadline to submit is June 1.

“Filmmakers residing in Texas for at least 1 year can request up to $15,000 in production, post-production and distribution funds for their projects, as well as Kodak film stock and in-kind services from Seattle-based Alpha Cine Labs,” says AFS.

Free workshops about the application process will be held across the state, with two in Austin, April 16 and May 3.
