Austin film viewable at HBO On Demand
Austin filmmaker John Estrada’s short “Taco! Taco!” won the HBO/New York International Latino Festival Short Film competition and is now available on HBO On Demand through October. You can view it any time in the comedy section or the películas y mas section.
Estrada, a 2007 UT film grad, received $15,000 in funding from HBO to produce and direct the film based on his original script entry. The short was filmed in Austin and stars Joseph Thomas Campos, Sesar Sandoval and Dimitrius Pulido.
