Natalie,

Although I have not seen it yet, I can guarantee I know exactly what this Batman movie is like. Truthfully, I can’t believe we are going back to the same argument that the entertainment is what is causing the downfall of American society, when it would actually be a symptom. Or the fact that we are so lacking in will and common sense as that a movie would could make us callous just from content. What a weak willed and petty species we must be to be influenced into callousness from a movie. If these are the viewpoints you actually have, all I can say is WOW, with a dumbfounded look.

Perhaps you would be more comfortable with the ridiculous ones they made in the 90’s, or the ones with Adam West.

Natalie, While I respect that you walked out of a movie that violated your conscience, how could you not have known it was going to be a violent movie from the trailers? I’m surprised you even went.

I personally thought the movie was amazing…so many plot twists and turns. Christian Bale simply shines and Heath Ledger’s performance was excellent. I can’t wait to watch it again!

I’m in my 30s. I went to this movie with 5 friends. I knew it would be dark. However it was a drag…then it became morbid…then it was stupid (leave joker in room uncuffed with broken glass and a jailer with no weapon? Geez…), then it became unconscionable as I sat there watching myself having paid for a movie that was leading the nation with messaging that creates a generation of calloused people. America needs help and we are a bunch of pathetic individuals to make this movie number one. All of us stood up and walked out. I wish nation’s of people would start walking out of these violent, disrespectful and calloused films and refuse to take it. What a bore we have nothing better to do? I had plenty of better things to do than waste my time on that garbage of a movie.
