Watson posts a response
Sen. Kirk Watson, in response to all the attention he’s getting today after his infamous appearance on MSNBC last night, has posted a response on his Web site.
This time, he lists some of Barack Obama’s accomplishments and makes light of the fact that he could not remember them while he was being yelled at by Chris Mathews.

Senator Watson,
Your gracious and poignant reply is perfectly in kind and step with Senator Obama’s campaign. And if I were a resident of Texas, I would vote for you!!
Your reaction is a wonderful “tribute by action” to what I hold so dearly about the Obama Campaign and the most proud I’ve ever been of politics in America in my 54 years as an American.
Sincerely,
Vincent Theel At Last a Proud DC Democrat

You’re absolutely right, Vincent! This is how politics can and should be done. A mistake or error corrected, humility acknowledged. Laughter at himself. And the most important, the accomplishments of which there were many, brought to light. Matthews and the rest of the hacks should be taken off the air for not presenting facts, but rather trying to create their own, to influence the electoral process. Matthews is not a journalist, he’s a hack, pure and simple.
