Hutchison backs McCain
She wasn’t exactly the first on board the train, but Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas said Monday she’s backing almost-certain GOP nominee John McCain. The Arizona senator called Hutchison over the weekend and asked her to campaign with him, and she agreed, according to a statement that McCain’s camp released.
