There are over 1,500 insurance companies and we are told we need a “gov’mnt option” to increase competition. We have not had even one complaint of monopolistic control - last years’ profits were an unexciting 2.2%…
Strange, we got only one electric utility in any service area, a monopoly granted in the franchise agreement by law. The state exercises control through a Public Service Commission!! How then can there be ANY problems??

IF FPL has lied in their rate filing - their CEO can go to jail. IF FPL fraudulently presented fixtitious information in their rate filing - their CEO can go to jail.

Does this newspaper make such a charge against FPL?? Care to offer even one scintilla of proof??
Didn’t think so…
