First of all there was no mention in this article of what the crowds were like at other TeaParties. I can tell you Dallas had 37,000 people.

This is not about Taxes, it’s about everything from corrupt poloticians and why they are not prosecuted like Bush and Cheney to ignoring the United States Constitution. Has any one gone to Jail for Torture, of course not. This is about corrupt banks the the Mofia style corrupt Insurance Industry.

GO to YOUTUBE and watch WE THE PEOPLE STIMULUS PACKAGE.

Are we a Nation of Cowards America?? We will not protest but will wait in lines for three days to buy an ipod or smart phone. What has happened to this country.

The mayor of Jupiter buys a buiding for $2 MILLION and rents it to Illeagal Guatamaulins for a dollar a year so they are no longer in public view.

It just happens the El-Sol biliding where all the Illeagals gather is next door to the Police Station for god sakes.

You are all watching as the stores around you are closing and soon the malls will be gone.

Your counrty is going down yet most people will no protest.

Americans have become so lazy, that they are willing to lose their FREEDOM and the Government will tell you what your freedoms are.

If a Government is not afraid of it’s citizens it is called TIRRANY.

If a Goverment is afraid of the people, it is called LIBERTY.

IS YOUR GOVERNMENT AFRAID OF YOU??????

Brian, you are as full of it as ever. here is a chart showing the Bush deficits vs the Obama deficits:

Link:Here

I hope that even you can see a difference.

Bush was the source of complaints by the base for letting spending get out of hand. He needed to veto some spending, but he didn’t.

Then to claim that this is all Bush’s fault is stunningly ignorant. The genesis of this problem was the CRA during the Carter administration and its expansion under Clinton. You also have to factor in Frank, Dodd, Waters, and all the Democrats who headed up Fannie and Freddie as their own private playpen, backed by the government. You can argue that Greenspan had a part of it, but the Fed is an independent organization.

Boston Tea Party 1773-1776… who is Adam West? I think you were referring to Allen West who did not even show his face yesterday? He is losing support because his head has grown to the size of russia. I am no longer a supporter for him. I still hope he wins because West is better then Klein. I’d love to know how he answered the same questions of your questions. My guess is his answer started like this, “well when I was in Afghanistan this is what we did…” Everything he has an answer for comes from his days of war. He is not a leader, he is someone who follows orders. We do not need another order taker. We need real American People who have passion for success and vision for the future. West does not have vision. If he did he wouldn’t have landed him self in the brig for “tormenting” a terrorist. I just think you are one of those Libertarian wack jobs.

Boston Tea Party,

I am not sure that I recall being asked any questions by your group and I have never been asked a question that would make me like a “deer in headlights”. Perhaps I did not understand how the question was posed. In all fairness though, I would like to extend to you the opportunity to have your question responded to, as it should. Therefore, contact me through our website, www.electlynch.com, and I will be more than happy to address any and all of your inquiries with regard to my positions on issues.

Um, the argument that taxes will be raised is as stupid as it gets. Taxes WILL go up because we ARE in a financial disaster.

Our government cannot continue spending billions of dollars and putting our Country further into debt! Enough with government bailouts/control of banking & auto industries (and who knows what else). Our grandchildren’s children will be paying back this tremendous monetary burden - enough already!

I’m not a big Obama supporter and I didn’t vote for him but I do think he deserves a chance. It hasn’t even been a full 6 months since he took office.

People seem to forget that Bush and the republicans caused the economic mess we’re in right now. They got us in to an unnecessary war and now a long term occupation in Iraq. They, led by Bush, made the US into a world class, arrogant bully, reflecting Bush’s own personality. Little bro did about the same for us in Florida only he was smart enought to cover it up better.

Rewriting history is a favorite past time of the right wingers. It’s unfortunate that you can fool some of the people all of the time but hopefully there are still enough of us out there tha remember what really happened the last 8 years.

How do you like the change?

In my adult life I have never been more afraid for my country as I am now. Obama is supposedly trying to stop more sanctions against Iran. Why? Obama trashes the Honduran people and sides with the dictator. Obama abandons our one true ally Israel, while he praises the Arabs and Muslims. All of you who said that Obamas associations BEFORE the election would not matter had better wake up and see what he is doing. He backs radicals and is moving the US in the wrong direction. Your “stimulus check” isnt in the mail, your taxes are going to go way up no matter what you earn, hes done NOTHING for blacks who worship him or gays who chanted for him. Bankrupting us, pushing through nassive, expensive plans before anyone can read and analyze them - all done purposely so he can control the banks, auto industry, the media and health care. Its all about Obama. Next he will push through legislation to end term limits. The radicals behind him will profit handsomely and we will be paying for it. His associatons DO MATTER folks

By ballyhoo Jul 5, 2009 12:48 AM People just don’t get that the only way to alleviate the debt is to grow the GDP, and the only way to grow the GDP is for SOMEBODY to spend.

WOW! YOU could be another CZAR! LOL!

Spend? Spend what/how? The double digit GDP is not ours anymore it’s China’s.

WE no longer create wealth, nationally we’re now substandard like Florida.

We’re now a service economy like all the rest of the third world nations.

OUR votes did this to us because we’re more concerned about michael jackson than our own future.

We get what we deserve.

More “Sour Grapes” form Hey Muddled America. It will be interesting to see how long your racist remarks make it on the Post as opposed to the Sentinel. I bet not long.

Dan, were you and all of these people “sick” of Bush running up more debt in eight years than all the Presidents before him? Did you protest that? Did you take to the streets? I am not “For” Obama and I was certainly not “For” Bush, but the hypocrites are coming out of the woodwork now and it’s pretty sad. If you are against a huge National Debt, then where were you for those eight Bush years? Well?

So the Tea Party had their couple hundred people out.

May I suggest you all register at FAU for lessons in economics, politics, & most of all history lessons.

Sons & Daughters of Liberty spoke with some of you. You all where smart enough to not make statements wanting the country to fail.

I will say most all of you did not understand the actual Boston Tea Party & why it happen. Shouldn’t you know that using the name! We asked some basic economic methods & theories. Not one could answer. Sadly Edward Lynch who should of been educated enough to understand one of these questions was like a deer in headlights.

Most all the Sons & Daughters of Liberty highlighted you guy’s as Rebels without a clue.

That could not show understanding of even the easiest of concepts. Unfortunately one person Adam West who I know & voted for was involved in this. He just lost lots of support for his next bid. Good luck Mr. West.

All Tea Party members decided to use history that they did not understand. Now you will be subject to a standard. A standard that the Sons & Daughters of Liberty will be watching to see if you violate.

I was at the tea party last night and there seemed to be much more than 500 participents. I am not a crowd counter but the number of people really surprised me.

I commend the Post for excellent coverage of the local version of what seems to be an enduring national movement of “tea parties.” I think that the national media has tended to regard this movement as a temporary outpouring of anti-tax sentiment. But as I survey news perspectives, I think much of the media is overlooking what may be he next major political move. The “tea parties” which were regarded as quickie expressions seem to be enduring and organizing. If they do, they could change the complexion of the House in 2010. If that happens, the whole complexion of Washington will change dramatically. Freedom is a strange and powerful entity—and fun to watch.

I’ve heard about these ‘tea parties’ and even after reading this article, i’m still rather confused as to what they stand for.

I’m guessing most of the people attending are actually in line for tax CUTS, rather than increases. And Lord knows they don’t probably don’t want to give up their social security.

It all seems a little premature to me.

People just don’t get that the only way to alleviate the debt is to grow the GDP, and the only way to grow the GDP is for SOMEBODY to spend.

Not all tea party protesters are Republican,Brian.Independents Dems anyone who is sick and tired of this administration making the debt higher than Bush in only 6 mos is pathetic.Just goes to show you when somebody is against this administrations policy there dragged down by the MSM or the liberal pundits, just goes to show you how brainwashed the people are who believe the media is fair.

only the village idiot would bring up w’s debt and try to use it as an excuse for barryboo tripling (quadrupling) it…LOL…barryboo is falling in the polls in a slow but steady manner as the independents leave him in droves and barryboo’s latest broken promise hasn’t sunk in yet…by breaking his “tax cuts for 95%” pledge by multiple tax increases barryboo has almost assured that ‘10 will be a repeat of ‘94…the old adage about giving someone enough rope has found new meaning this year LOL

No offense but the recent economic downturn is just a small scratch on the surface. Here is my multitude point: Slavery was a sin against God, The United States Of America paid dearly for it with deaths in the civil war(more casualties than all American wars combined). Take the modern day travesty against humanity for example Abortion has killed over 30 million unborn babies. The fall of the U.S.A is near ( God forbid) or we find his ways as this country was founded.

Where were all these protesters when Bush ran up more debt in eight years than all the Presidents before him combined? I know where they were, they were supporting him because they are all Republicans. You lost, get over it.
