Precisely who in the current administration agreed to this? There had to be some type of agreement between the Wash. Post and the White House. Sadly no one will ever investigate because of the liberal media bias, but I can’t see how the invitation could have gone out without the blessing of White House staffers. If this had occurred during the previous administration’s tenure…..well, I’ll leave it to your imagination. Total lack of thorough and objective reporting is why America’s mainstream media is dying a very slow and painful death.

That’s just one example of the sell-out of what was once vigoroous, objective journalism. Not the big push, in print and electronic “news” is to get a celebrity to consent to an interivew, always with an understanding at some level that it would involve only “soft ball” questions or outright opportunitites for political propaganda.
As nearly as I can tell, the Washington “journalism” is a total sell-out. If anybody wants real reporting, he/she has to rely on community journlists, most of whom still have the courage to adhere to professional principles.
