Five years? Not enough! Frankly, I think we should adopt China’s method of dealing with corrupt officials. Let them walk out of the court room and BLAM! Done deal. I’m hoping the FBI continues to sit in on all the meetings and dig more into the back door activities of our commisioners and other politicians. As far as I’m concerned, they’re all crooks in suits.

You got that right regarding the Town Crier! THE TOWN CRIER IS THE MOST CORRUPT and ABSOLUTE LYING NEWSPAPER IN PALM BEACH COUNTY. The only thing that needs to be done now is to GET RID OF MICHELLE DAMONE AND THE NEW ITID BOARD AND GET OUR HONEST MR. PRESIDENT BACK!! HE WAS THE ONLY HONEST INDIVIDUAL SERVING THIS COMMUNITY IS OVER 10 YEARS!! The FBI should certainly look at the dealings of Masilloti, Minto, Town Crier, Village of RPB, and Michelle Damone. She’s a desgrace to our community and she’s no different than Masillotti; she thinks she’s hot stuff! Great God almighty deliver us.

The Tony Masilotti scandle only underscores the need to prosecute those who fund those bribes. What happened to Enrique Tomeo who funneled the land to Tony; or the guy who funded the money to Liberti, or Minto homes who has paid Tony off for the “Reliever Road” to no where? Tony should have gotten 8 years minimum to reimburse us for the hell he put us through in The Acreage when he stole our park, took our $370 MM utility rights, installed useless and corrupt political aspirations in Michelle Damone and the rest of the flunks. And of course…let’s not forget the torment we all went through having to live through the Manning owned Town Crier lies about the previous ITID board. They only perpetuated a lie so that the developers could continue to prosper and line Tony’s pockets. The Town Lier should be indicted for abuse of the first amendment and Don Brown should be sentenced to life, if he has one left. It’s funny how things go around.

U S Attorney R Alexander Acosta claims to “resolve to root out corruption in P.B. County”. Having been privy to a case which involved both Acosta and Judge Kenneth Ryskamp…one has to ask this question ” Are Acosta and Ryskamp equally as corrupt as the criminals they prosecute ? Pay attention to how well these two characters treat criminals ie; the higher up or titled a criminal is in society, the less they are punished for their crimes. Acosta and Ryskamp should both be removed from their positions.

This sentencing is an insult…and his sentencing was already delayed for 6 months? Why another 45 day delay….it looks like Judges coddling the politicians that pay them? Who knows.

If Frankel, Lubin,Boose, Teemeeao, Kline, Karen Marcus, her husband, Mr. Newell, Addie, SFWMD Officers, etc etc etc etc…get what they deserve..then maybe we will finally clean up PBC corruption that is ingrained from TOP TO BOTTOM.

If all this Tony Frauad stuff was so above board, then he should have reported it as required by law…instead he and his attorney allegedly set up secret trusts in nominee trusts so Tony could do these alleged CRIMINAL deals without complying with FINANCIAL REPORTING LAW.

Tony knew this and his attorney knew this and is likely why they should do some HARD jail time…if anyone knew this stuff was stone cold illegal, it would be Tony and Billy, his Attorney…and do you think either one of these guys got caught there first time? Yeah right!

This agnecy keep coming up associted with illicit activities, why are they not being investigated further by the FBI??????. The recent articles on the corruption of the WMD should cause the FBI and FDLE to be digging deeper!! and investigating this agency and its “friends and family” leadership. I hope the Post continues to report on all the corruption that exists to help to pressure for changes.

All our lives we work hard, at 40+ hour weeks. Finally, we reach age 65 and go on Social Security. If we’re lucky, maybe we retire with a small pension. In all those years, did anybody offer you millions of dollars on top of your weekly pay? I bet not. So why should our Politicians be any different then us? These Politicians, and the people who offer the payoffs to them should also go to jail. Let’s set an example & stop these bribes & kickbacks in their tracks. In the long run, it will benefit the taxpayer.

TO: they think were stupid - first of all, it wasn’t the “city” - so a city auditor couldn’t help in this situation. Second of all, as far as the county was concerned, this was a South Florida Water Management District land acquisition. Period. Two separate government entities, with two separate budgets for land acquisition - one doesn’t control the other. The “city” had nothing to do with the Masilotti deal. You should really educate yourself before you start blogging about something you know nothing about. The problem is that he used the knowledge he acquired from his public office to benefit as a private citizen. (name one politician who hasn’t) It didn’t cost the taxpayers any more money than if the land deal with the water district was legit all the way.

Start saving up your dollars ole faithful blind supporters - it takes lots of gas (and corruption) to get to that Federal pen in Pensacola. Why don’t we keep it real here - you folks are acting like the man raped and murdered your grandmother. The South Florida Water Management District was willing to buy the land for what the Lee brothers and Masilotti was willing to sell it for. Period. How did that decision affect your pocketbook? It doesn’t matter if John Doe owned the property - the district was STILL willing to pay that amount of money for it. So don’t start pulling this bandwagon acting like Masilotti stole from you. The SYSTEM stole from you. He used his knowledge to make a quick buck - GREED is his crime. And 5 years is a long time to sit behind bars, even if it is a country club. There are murderers who get less time. The feds and the newspapers didn’t like it because Masilotti was cocky with them, so now they’re going to make an example of him.

Whether it is Scooter Libby or Paris Hilton or Masilotti, this business of delaying the start of a sentence is poor justice.
 When a criminal is convicted, that is the time to slam the door on him/her.

This guy is still dictating!! Tells the judge when he’ll have his house in order so he can start serving his time. I bet his house would be in order real fast if the judge gave him the option of five years if he starts serving his sentence immediatetly or six years if he wanted to wait forty five days.He’s had six months to get his house in order which is six months more than most felons have.

5 years is a long time for the average Joe to sit in jail. So - yes, the sentence is appropriate. He’s a slimy crook but after all…he didn’t kill anyone. But he will probably not actually do more than 2 years anyway, with our dopey prison system. Good riddance to him. Now what about Newell? He should be next. And don’t forget to investigate Ms. Mary “never met a developer she didn’t love” Mc’You Know Who.
