I say “It’s all out war on Conspiracy” as almost everything is. I for one and struggling practically homeless thanks to officials that are have allowed my child to suffer being neglected and abused all in the name of who ya know and the good ol famous green thing we all need or have called money…..

I am a homeless smoke drug and alcohol free 32 year old female mother that works full time paying up on my debt car note insurance some child support as I can afford from this ludacris of a county that helped my sons father to set me up. I am facing complete homeless if my sons father has them garnish my wages then I will quit my job become completely homeless and end up on the street and county will pick up the buck or working people for those that ae in jail. Its a free meal…what can be worse than being a mother and torn away from your own child which you care and love deeply and to be emotionally traumatizing for the child as well..

I’d like to know how different are we from those in Middle East….

What is this world coming too?

Are we not yet done being the laughing stock of the country! If I break the law I go to jail. If My liscense has expired and I get pulled over I get a fine, if my registration is expired I get a fine. To our commisioners. Break the law pay a fine. You are representing us ,the people, When are you going to do your jobs. This is not a problem that popped up over night. We should’ve been preparing for this a long time ago. Get this done. Or I have an I dea let’s wait till election day and then point the fingers at who to blame that the election is screwed up again. Just make sure one finger is pointing at you. “LET”S CALL THEIR BLUFF” Please this is not poker, and if you want to look at it as poker then let’s go all in. Let’s get this done…. NOW!!!!

I trust my bank to manage my account electronically, but I balance my checkbook just the same. A democracy needs to balance its ballot records too, by having a verifiable paper trail. There is nothing wrong with having the convenience and efficiency of electronic voting machines, so long as there is a verifiable record, but the software of any computer system is too easily manipulated to be trusted without verification. This is such common sense that can’t imagine how the election board ever thought otherwise. Of course we should invest in this whatever the cost. Our freedoms are at stake.

The commissioners should have purchased machines with a paper trail in the 1st place. Now they complain when they must fix their own mistakes!I’ll bet they’d pony up if there was a profit invoved to line their corrupt pockets. An accurate vote is our most essential right. These commissioners should be fired for even questioning the new law.

The County Commissioners should have purchased machines with a paper trail in the 1st place, then they woudn’t have this problem. To have no proof or record of the actual vote is a crime against the citizens of the county. For the commissioners to even hesitate for a moment to rectify their past failures just shows what an embarassment these corrupt people are to the citizens of the county. I’ll bet these people wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to line their pockets or pave over a nature preserve at the expense of the folks in this county. What a shame this is the best we can do.

How much are we selling the old touchscreen machines for? That money can go towards the scanner costs. They’ll probably just end up in the landfill with the rest of our foolish wasteful spending.

Since Wexler has been carrying this torch for the past few years why does he not get Federal Funds to pay for the paper trail?? It seems he likes the headlines, but like a true Washington politican he is short on solutions. Lets vote him out too. all this gives us is 2 scanners per voting location. Do you know what the lines will be like. People will end up going home and not wait. So much for the next great idea. Thank Wexler for another un-funded mandate. This is the same guy who voted for the war but now wants you to forget about it.

Maybe we should charge for casting a vote? Those “weiners” in the Boca/Delray condos would love it. At least their NY votes would be free.

Shame the fossil morons in this county can’t seem to get the hang of electronic devices.

Bet you’re still writing checks, making deposits with the teller and mailing those 1040’s too!

After all the problems this PBC has gone thru with vote counting,we owe it to the voters to pay for a paper trail so we can get a true vote count that we know will be right.

It is only fair that the state pay the county. If the county pays one red cent, that is a cent that can’t be used for other services for our citizens. The state passed the law forcing us out of the old ballots, and now again they are forcing the county to change. When are the residents going to realize that the state is not your friend, and that they push lots of costs back to the counties.

Said Commission Chairwoman Addie Greene: “I’d like to know what they’re going to do if we don’t buy the new equipment…Will they put all the commissioners in jail?”

Yes Addie, you disobey the law and you go to jail.

What is your problem Addie?

We should vote out the County Commisssioners if they refuse to give us a paper trail. We will be the laughing stock of the nation again. The people want a paper trail and I would like to remind the commissioners that we are their bosses.

I am sick and tired of Mr Anderson - the whole reason he ran for this job was a paper trail, and he has done NOTHING but stand in the way. He will NOT get my vote next time!!

I would pay any amount of money to have legitimate voting. Anyone who is complaining of the cost is failing to see the objective. Besides, why the hell wasn’t this a requirement TO BEGIN WITH? Time for us to take action because our representatives aren’t.

It’s disgusting that after all of the millions spent on e-voting, that we have to return to ancient ways to get a valid election. Where do I get in line for the “hand-outs” from all of the pork barrel politicians that are so edept at wasting our tax dollars?

It’s amazing…the ONE THING that the PEOPLE WANT….and we can’t have it. Always an excuse for why we CANNOT have VERIFIABLE VOTING….I have voted in every election and primary and runoff since I was 18. I will not waste my time to vote again until we have a paper trail. This County put the CROOK in CROOKED….

They better support a paper trail. No more of that crap they have been pulling. This time we will spend the whole damned term in court if we have to. Paperless voting will not be tolerated, especially in PBC>

ALL OF THE COMMISSIONERS SHOULD RETURN THEIR SLUSH FUNDS SO TAXPAYER MONEY CAN BE USED TO BENEFIT ALL TAXPAYERS.

A PAPER TRAIL WILL BENEFIT ALL OF THE TAXPAYERS, NOT JUST THE COMMISSIONER’S BUDDIES!

It would not matter which way you voted four or even eight years ago. Candidates on opposite sides were worthless.

our county will always have a tax base issue as long as we have illegal aliens living ‘Free’ in palm beach county.they inundate our schools.parks, libraries, emergency response system,jails,etc.etc.etc.the property owners who rent to the illegals should have to have a permit to rent to illegals this way the county knows who should be paying the lions share of the taxes on their rental property.we as honest taxpapers should not have to pay for illegals or the property owners who harbor them.lets be fair if you break the law you pay BIG!!!

Voting machines with a paper trail is a top priority, because without them, another election will be fixed like 4 years ago and 8 years ago. I want my tax dollars to be spent to assure fair and accurate elections!

The present machines should be declared non-certified for any future elections.

I also think the governor can remove a County Elections Supervisor for cause (Jeb Bush almost removed Broward’s Miriam Oliphant).

The “threat” to keep using these rigged voting machines seems like sufficient grounds to me for Charlie Crist to act.

I won’t even waste my time voting. They are all a bunch of crooks, greasing their palms along with all their budies in business. After all that’s gone on with the Water District, wasting millions for voting machines. Don’t even bother. I am disgusted with all the crooks in office.

Tell our commissioner: Do not get frustrated…just resign because you are not worth it. I hope they replace not only election voting but also all PBC employees with machines because machines today are more efficient and honest than most human beings.
