Pete Sampras could never make the finals of Roland Garros in Paris but managed just 1 semis.He stunk on clay so he’s made his career at Wimbledon.Federer is 10 times the player Sampras ever was;at least he dominates on all surfaces and can only say to his defense that he’s lost 3 years in a row to the man who might be considered as the best clay court tennis player in history of the game. Focus instead on how bad Americans how on clay and demand that the USTA with all the money and facilities they have to build clay courts in America and send for real clay court coaches or send the kids away to Europe to be taught how to actually have better footwork and mostly how to construct point.The constant demolition of Andy Roddick and James Blake by Roger Federer is perfect proof. Even those who american sarcastingly,shamefully calls “dirtballers” are now beating the mighty americans on their beloved hard courts;that says it all.
