Cam Cameron is NOT going to be fired after 1 season for crying out loud!!!!

Culpepper should have the chance to be the starter for the Phins. What’s the rush? Why not let him and Green battle through training camp and even into pre-season? That would be the best football decision. Then trade whoever doesn’t make the cut… If Pep comes back and Green gets another concussion, Cam will have “egg on his face”…

I think it is a poor football Decision to cut Culpepper without making Green actually work to earn the #1 spot. Green will be 1 year younger than Marino was when he was encouraged to retire, when the season starts. Green is no Marino. Given the reports of the VETS who like Culpepper’s work ethic.. We may be looking at Cowher being the coach next year and still no QB

what are you talking about??? if you think cam is gone next year then i want some of what your smoking. and as far as cowher goes he is one of the most overated coaches ever. 15 years and one sb. are you kidding me??? the only reason he made it there in the 90’s was because the afc sucked. and buddy boy he never had a qb till big ben.

UMMMMMMM Tom, Daunte has asked,,nope demanded that they cut him. If they do they will not have to pay him. Otherwise any player could demand to be cut and then just sit home and collect their money from the contract. If you ask to be cut it’s with the understanding that you will not be getting paid and your contract becomes null and void. What in the hell are you smoking?

If we cut Culpepper we still take a cap hit of around a million bucks this year due to guaranteed money or somethin.Other than that he gets squat from the Dolphins. If we were going to have to pay him anyway why would we be worried about having to pay him if he were to get injured in practice blue4dogs?????Trying to get something out of him even if its only a low round pick is the correct business decision.

I have lived in FL for 35 years and have paid for all the infrastructure which is here now. Roads, utilities, schools, fire service, police protection, hospitals and I will not support doing away with the Save Our Homes amendment. What services new residents enjoy have been paid for by all who have lived here many years and have paid taxes for. I do, however favor reducing real estate taxes for those who move here and apply for Homestead Exemption and which home is their permanent residence.

Lets give Coach Cameron some credit, after all he has to clean up the mess Nick Saban- (the worst coach the Fins ever had) created.

Thugs like Marcus Vick & Culpepper, Randy mc Michael are sent packing. If Mc Michael dosen’t lead the league in dropped passes last year the Fins win a few more games, & Nick Sabe dosen’t give up a 2nd round pick for Culpepper where would we be. people forget Culpepper has a losing record since Moss left the Vikings, Culpepper gets injured, they bring in Brad Johnson & the Vikings make the playoffs.
Culpepper is then ran out of Minnesota & now the Fins will have to release him becasue of Nick Sabans mistake.

Hey Tom….doesn’t seem like you know anything about football. If you get cut you don’t get paid.

What??What?? All they have to do is CUT HIM. Yes he’ll count against the cap, but he won’t be getting paid.

A contract is a contract. Once you sign it both parties have to fulfill it. Just because Dolphins signed another player doesn’t mean they can break his contract. If Dolphins don’t want him to play, that doesn’t mean they don’t have to pay him - he showed up, he’s willing to work, Dolphins said no. I imagine they can either find another sucker to take over his contract, honor his contract, or buy him out by paying him even more money. Of course, I’m no lawyer so that’s just my guess.

Ummm, what? If they cut him they don’t owe him a thing. Why would they keep him on the roster until 2013?

Nothing like getting 5.5 million to sit around and do nothing. I hope nobody will take him and he can do nothing until 2013 and collect a paycheck. Serves Miami right!
