As Mayor of this city, I am committed to help stop the violence, start the healing, and give peace a chance. Not only this month, but every month, we all must continue to join together to save our youths. It takes a village to raise a child. With a focus on violence, unemployment, education, responsible redevelopment, and with God’s continued blessings, we will win this war.

I think this is an excellent idea and will support ms.Grimsley all the way. The problem is that our community needs more mentors like her self. Everyone speaks negetavie but no one steps up to the plate. I would like to say thank you to her and the leaders who are trying to make a difference. We need more people like her in our community.

I’m sure these are all good ideas. The problem is, where is the continuous funding to come from, given that taxes will be rolled back? How can Palm Beach County afford to give these grants? Will this funding be at the expense of regular police patrols?

The people have said they want lower taxes. That can only mean fewer services, not more of them. No matter how needed a service is, if the funds aren’t there,it can’t be provided. Only the federal government can print money.
