I was ecstatic when we got CPep and I saw that as a long term move as CPep is not that old. To recover from a serious knee injury takes two years and this is the year he would show what the real CPep is like. He’s been cleared for practice and has stated that his knee feels much better now than it did at this point last year. His mobility is a big part of his effectiveness. He took way more sacks than he ever did in Minn which affected his performance. To write off his career on last seasons stats is a mistake. If the Dolphins give up on him now it would be another huge mistake as the team that would get him would pay huge dividends.

I like the trade for Green as they got him on the cheap too. The best case scenario would be to keep both Green and CPep and let the best man win. Beck is not a sure thing and is a long way from starting. CPep has the most arm strength and would pair perfectly with Ginn’s speed. Ginn is no Randy Moss but he is way faster than anyone CPep had last year to throw too so I can see a lot of potential in that combination.

You were fired up? Did you watch C-Pep play BEFORE he hurt his knee? He was absolutely friggen horrible. Go watch the Vikings games until he got hurt and tell me how you could possibly have been exicted? I would have been full of dread.

i tell you this, i am glad im a gators fan also. atleast i know they wont screw up like this. it is stupid. let green and culpepper fight it out for the position. no one is going to trade for cpep. so their gonna have to release him. so they paid him how many millions of dollars last year to take a couple of snaps? he is 30 years old, give him a couple of years. i have been a dolfan my whole life but its the times like these that i start to question myself. I think that Cameron has been the worst thing to happen to the dolphins. ever.

Who cares who is the QB. we only root for the Uniform anyway. I have been a Fan since 1972 and there is no one from that Team playing now. I don’t know most of the Player’s Name on this Team. I just root for the Uniform.

It’s sad to see whats happened to Culpepper. The guy still has talent even without the mobility. Green will get hurt behind our shaky O-line. I see him playing no more than 7 to 8 games. We could have gotten 3 to 4 good years out of Culpepper. Our defense is aging fast and the door is about to close. Whatever. Some of the personell moves the last few years make me wonder about my team.

The bottom line is Beck is the future of the FINS and Green is the better option to bridge that gap. This is not about who has the brighter future between CPep and Green because the future is Beck. This is not an age issue as well so that argument needs to be dropped. This has everything to do with who is the better option to hand the FINS to Beck while also giving them a good chance of winning this year. And that is without a doubt Green. Green has been a Top 5 QB over the last 7 years and his style is similar to Beck’s. For those defending CPep, I commend you but Green is the better option for the FINS under these circumstances. CPep is a long term option and that is not what the FINS currently need.

Wow Bruce, I’m sure Wayne H. read your brilliant comments and will be calling you soon to run his team!Do you guys that are so critical on Cameron really think you know better? If so, it would only show how stupid you really are!

Gee let me go back to my comment when the Fins aquired the PEP, “stupid move”. Now they get another haz been. With the old age of most of the good Fins players that are left, the NFL should start a seniors league and maybe the fins will do better there. Dear Wayne, you seriously need to hire a better front office staff.

I think that not giving pep a chance tells u what kind of team the dolphins are….I’m a huge dolphin fan and now i dont know if i want to cheer for a team who does stay true till their word

its hard to watch this being that I am a huge Dolphins fan, but why did we get an over the hill QB. Nick Saban screwed Dauntes’ chances when all he needed to do was get 100% healthy again. I hope to God that Daunte has at least a chance to compete for the starting job and prove to be the QB that we all know he can be. I graduated high school with this guy and I know he is a stellar athlete and one hell of a QB. Lets give him the chance he deserves and hopefully not live with another bad management decision in letting him go. I mean Christ he started 4 games when he wasn’t healthy and had a better QB rating than Joey Harrington, and everbody is aware of how good he is when he is healthy. Like I said before I hope they give the guy a chance instead of giving up on him.

MauiFinFan, you are truly the biggest idiot I have ever seen. Cam is a guru and you need to trust what he decides. Your comments are just moronic as is your IQ. P**s off!!!

I think this will benefit the Fins. Either green or Culpepper are just a stop gap for Beck, but green will be a better teacher. He knows the system already and that puts him ahead of Culpepper. I eventually see the Fins trading Culpepper. The Fish are not as bad as everyone says they are, they just need a stable QB to produce a little, the Defense will keep us in allot of games. I see a much better team than next year, no thanks to Benedict-Saban. Go Fins!!!

It’s about f—-ing time! Now we have our stop-gap for this year and the perfect tutor for Beck to be our guy long-term. I always hoped Culpepper would do well for us since we’re both from Ocala, but unless he suddenly plays “highly intelligent” football like Cam demands, it’s time to examine what trade options we have with him. I’m guessing our only hope is that he performs well and some other team has an injury, but perhaps we can recoup that 5th (possible 4th) we used to get Green….

Cam has now made his bed and must sleep in it while we fans must live with the consequences. Here’s to hoping it all works out for the best!

Maui fan. How do you even call yourself a true fan. A true fan sticks by their team no matter who is there. I am from Kansas and I hate the Chiefs, so I am not a fan of Green either. As a true fan you have to have some faith. Who knows Green to Ginn could be a powerful thing.

Go PHINS

Maui, your an idiot! Culpepper is a loser and always will be. Any real dolphan fan that was sold on him saving our team and buying his merchandise is moron.

Well…I wish Trent and Daunte the best of luck! May the best QB win the starting job for the Dolphins. In either case, both will have to play better than they did last year to be successful with Miami.

I was a longtime Dolphin fan….. Until Green became a Dolphin.

Looking to see who we will get in the 2008 1st round draft pick cause this season is done!!!!

I support you Culpepper and good luck to whomever you land with. By the way I hope you land with an AFC team that will kick us in the A$$ just to show what a really dumb mistake Cam & Randy did.

Idiots!!!!!!! Nick started the downfall of a great organization and Cam was brought in to finish the job.

George Bush and Son is doing the same exact thing in Iraq. the father started it and now the son came in to make it worse. God Bless the US Soldiers.

Let the beating begin!!!!!!
