MTV VMAs: 9:05 - Doncha wish your columnist was funny like me?
The house band, the Raconteurs, are back, and is it just me, or is Jack Black hot? I know you already thought so, but I am just newly on this train...and I'm only just buying a one-way ticket.
It's Kyle Gass of Tenacious D, pretending to be offended that the band is not hosting, just Jack Black. They make me tired, but their movie "The Pick of Destiny" looks pretty funny.
Jessica Simpson, a new haircut and some much-needed weight back on her bones are all presenting the Best Dance category. "Promiscious" just does not flow off the tounge. It's not a sexy word, ironically. The winners are the Pussycat Dolls, for "Buttons," which makes sense since they originated from a burlesque show. Shakira and Wyclef look upset. Dance off! Dance off!
The Dolls are officially the first people to thank God. It's always the ones that dance half-dressed or sing about hos that do that. Ever notice that?
